Phuket’s Naka Weekend Market is open every Saturday & Sunday from 4pm to 10pm.

Naka Street Food Market is open Monday to Friday, from 4pm to 9pm.

How big is the market?

In a word, HUGE. You can easily spend hours looking around at all the stalls, food and entertainment on offer.  There are literally 100s of market stalls to browse and just as many food and drink stalls. For those that get tired and want to relax there are plenty of restaurants and bars to take a break.

Is the market indoors or outdoors?

Both, there are some stalls out in the open air, but most of the food and drink is under cover, so if it rains, don’t worry!

On the weekends, Naka Market offers a huge array of things to buy, including handicrafts, souvenirs, clothing, accessories and has huge choice of local food, drinks and Thai desserts.

What's the best time to get here?

For the Naka Weekend Market, if you prefer it less busy then it is best to ge tthere when the market opens at 4pm, you will also find it easier to park if you drive.

It can get quite crowded on weekends, especially after sunset, however the market is vast and spread out over a large area so there is plenty of space to move around, but please be patient if it does get busy.

The Naka Street Food market open on weekdays doesn’t get too crowded so any time is good.

Are prices negotiable at Naka Weekend Market?

Yes! This is part of the fun, grab yourself a bargain and enjoy the experience! Prices are negotiable and visitors are encouraged to bargain with vendors.
